I am a social media manager with a passion for engagement, community-building and advocacy; currently fueled by my professional experience in reputation development and owned media strategy. In addition, I have personal knowledge of pediatric healthcare as my son is an experienced patient.

My work history at a start-up taught me how to wear many hats and I learned invaluable lessons in entrepreneurship, event management, content development, customer service and non-traditional marketing skills. Through social media and blogging I have worked with brands like Coca-Cola, Netflix, Nintendo, Chevrolet, Ford, Proctor & Gamble, Big Lots, BP, Bosch, Welch's and Old Navy, just to name a few.

I am heavily focused on hospital social media strategy, engagement, growth, and analytics with an emphasis on patient referrals, department goals and national brand exposure. I also act as managing editor of 700 Children's blog and am currently developing a workforce-wide social media curriculum.

When I'm not at the office, I enjoy listening to live music, traveling and spending time with my two teenagers.
